Fifty-eight (58) children from Sitio Talamsi, Kalawakan, Doña Remedios Trinidad (DRT), Bulacan received the sacrament of Holy Communion last September 7 of the current year. Father Alvin de Leon, priest-in-charge, presided over this ceremony. Before starting the Mass, there was a confession to the children to prepare themselves for receiving the sacrament.
This project of the Sto Niño de Malolos Foundation Inc. (SNdMFI) is in its 50th year of implementation and is also one of the projects prepared by the Hermanos Mayores for the golden jubilee of Sto Niño de Malolos, in collaboration with SNdMFI officials.
"Sharing this moving moment with the mountain community of Sitio Talamsi, DRT on the First Communion of their children is very heartwarming. We, as members of the Sto Niño de Malolos Foundation, are truly grateful for this endeavor of sponsoring the First Communion of public school children for the past 50 years," said Angel "Ulay" Tantoco Jr., the Chairman of SNdMFI.
PAGCOR Chairman Al Tengco, chairman of the Jubilee Fiesta Committee, and Berto Villanueva, co-chairman, further suggested that they continue to support and look forward to the other held Holy Communions and charity projects for the upcoming celebration of the golden jubilee of the Sto . Niño de Malolos.
