The annual celebration of the Feast of San Rafael Archangel was held on September 29, 2024 in the town of San Rafael, Bulacan. There was a Misa Mayor at 4:30 in the afternoon led by Father Gerry Fortunato, Parish Priest of San Juan de Dios Parish.
Father Gerry said in his homily, "All of us have been called by God to unite, help each other and lift each other out of poverty and allow us to live a comfortable [and moral] life with the help of the power of God who loves us and guides us of Saint Raphael the Archangel."
The official travel image of San Rafael Archangel donated by the Camareros de San Juan de Dios to be used to spread devotion to San Rafael Archangel was also blessed. It was followed by the procession of the Three Archangels with San Juan de Dios and Our Lady of the Rosary.
There were also various activities in the parish in connection with the festival. On September 20th, the Archangels of the Lord toured the entire town. On September 27, at 8 o'clock in the morning, there was an indakan in the street in which young people from different barangays throughout the town of San Rafael participated and at 2 o'clock in the afternoon the revelers gathered in the Victoria Colesium to enjoy the greatness; wearing their colorful clothes whitened like angels.
The Fluvial Parade on the San Rafael River was also held on September 28. A Holy Mass celebration was held at the San Rafael River Adventure led by Father Gerry Fortunato and followed by the blessing of the image of San Rafael Archangel carried by the pagoda. Also on boats, devotees crossed the stretch of the River in Metro, Poblacion. Its purpose is to achieve a lively livelihood for fishermen under the guidance of Patrong San Rafael. In the evening, the "Dalaw Patron" was held.
The Angel Festival is also featured in the town of San Rafael. Activities related to the festival brought together citizens and devotees from different barangays to celebrate their dear patron.
