Balitang Sandigan: 401ST ANNIVERSARY OF THE PARISH OF SAN DIEGO DE ALCALA (11.22.24)

Retrospective: Celebration of the Feast of San Diego de Alcala and the 401st Year of the Founding of the Town of Polo (Present Valenzuela City)

Every November 12th, the city of Valenzuela commemorates its founding as a town. This year it celebrates its 401st centenary of its foundation in conjunction with the San Diego de Alcala Pintakasi festival. As part of the city's celebration, there was a mass led by His Eminence Cardinal Jose Advincula of the Archdiocese of Manila together with the Bishop of Malolos Dennis C. Villarojo and the parish priest Fr. Francis Carson and his associate priest Fr, John Paul Jickain in the Parish of San Diego de Alcala in Polo.
