The Diocesan Commissions and the Diocesan Pastoral Planning Board held a meeting on the pastoral programs of the Diocese on January 27, 2025 at the Diocesan Pastoral Center, Malolos City, Bulacan.
The purpose of this meeting was to organize the Diocesan Pastoral Plan and to have coherence in the activities and programs of the Commissions in the Diocese before continuing to implement them in the various sectors of the Church.
The said meeting also paid attention to ensuring that all programs are focused on the pastoral theme of the Diocese "Traveler of Hope, Missionary of Faith".
According to Canon 511-512 of the Code of Canon Law, the establishment of a pastoral council such as this is prescribed so that under the pastoral care of the bishop there will be someone to investigate, consider and propose good measures for the pastoral activities of a diocese. According to the said decree, it is appropriate for priests, those who have taken vows to God, and lay people who will represent different segments of the people to be its members.
