EASTER MESSAGE OF BISHOP DENNIS C. VILLAROJO, D.D. (04.09.23)

We are all rejoicing today because we have reached our glorious Christmas celebration of the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is alive, He is our light!

Enlightenment is always associated with the resurrection of the Lord. The Lord removed the darkness caused by sin. The light that now shines in our hearts is not something we should hide in our hearts. We should always keep this in our hearts and let us be a sign to others of the Lord's enlightenment.

This is very necessary in our time when many of our neighbors, instead of turning to the hope brought by the Lord, just entertain themselves with many short-term pleasures. Only Jesus can relieve the darkness that surrounds our hearts. Let us dispel the darkness in the hearts of our neighbors through the hope we hold in our hearts.

May the hope brought by the light of the Lord reign in the hearts of all of us. Happy Easter to you all!
