On the second day of the Assembly on August 26th, Fr. Tito Caluag the Simbayanihan (Good Governance) Program and Expanded Alay Kapwa Campaign of CSA. Its purpose is to explain the 7 Alay Kapwa Legacy Program and implement it as an organized and professional program. This program is designed not only to help the beneficiaries but also to empower them to make a difference in our community.
Caritas Philippines wants this to be continued and replicated in the 86 Dioceses and eventually become a national movement. One of the goals of the Expanded Alay Kapwa Campaign is to have 1,000,000 individuals willing to donate 500 pesos annually.
After this there was an Election of Regional Officers for Central Luzon and NCR. Fr. was elected as Regional Coordinator. Melchor Ignacio of the Diocese of Malolos, Regional Coordinator for Peace and Order Fr. Allan Lopez, OP. of the Diocese of Kalookan, Regional Coordinator for Good Governance Fr. Aldrin Domingo of the Diocese of Cabanatuan, Regional Coordinator for Humanitarian Fr. Ricardo Pangilinan, Jr. of the Diocese of San Jose, and Regional Coordinator for Ecology Fr. Moises Villamayor of the Diocese of Antipolo.
And as the end of this Regional Assembly, Bishop Jose Colin Bagaforo celebrated Holy Mass.
