BAYAN NG DIYOS, MAGPURI!
As a united people of God, we are blessed with the growth of a new sprout child of the Parish in the construction of a quasi-parish. With the good will and desire of our parish priest, Rdo. P. Joselin San Jose, together with the Pastoral Council, to better meet the spiritual and pastoral condition of all the believers of the Parish, he had to go to our Bishop, Lub. kg Dennis C. Villarojo, D.D., and announce this state of our parish. With the grace and guidance of our Blessed Mother, several studies, interviews, and preparations were conducted to fulfill this request to build a church being prepared with the help of his associate priest, Rdo. P. Jonathan C. Lazarus.
In a decree issued by the Reverend Bishop on September 14th, the Feast of the Exposition of the Holy Cross, the Lord was truly good that the village of Manatal was chosen to build the said parish being prepared. This quasi-parish covers the SPPCs and chapels in the barangays of Manatal, Bagbaguin, Cupang, Masagana, Masuso, and Sto. Niño Following these paragraphs is the appointment of Rdo. P. Jonathan C. Lazaro as the first priest in charge of the said church being prepared.
Perhaps, this separation is far from usual, but it is focused on meeting pastoral and spiritual needs by building a new center of faith in an area covered by a larger parish. Its purpose is to stimulate and pay more attention to the activities that will enrich their spiritual life, as well as to the liturgical needs of its smaller scope.
1. There will be daily Holy Masses and liturgical activities in the prepared church, such as baptisms, weddings, and other celebrations such as Funeral Masses.
2. Celebrations and reception of the holy sacraments can now be accepted here.
3. The church organizations contained in the SPPCs covered by this Quasi-Parish will also be formed to further strengthen the spiritual work of the prepared parish.
4. There will also be an office located on the side of the chapel, which will serve as a temporary church while efforts are being made to build the enlarged church.
Today, in records, the Parish of Sto. Cristo became the first daughter of our Parish. Christ in Siling Bata in 1981 as the second Parish in the town of Pandi. In this preparation, a parish that is being prepared to become a complete center of faith that will represent the pastoral and spiritual needs of every believer, in the path of the holy hand of San Antonio of Padua, in the shadow of the caring guidance and love of our mother, the pintakasi of our people, Maria, the Immaculate Conception. The establishment of the Quasi-Parish of Saint Anthony of Padua will be held on October 24th.
