The entry of 2024 may be uncertain for many of us. The turn of the year can be filled with dread, doubt and questions. That’s how it is when there is something new and change, it can cause fear. But change does not only cause fear, it also brings us hope and offers us many opportunities to renew our lives. This new year is another opportunity to renew our journey as a Church.
The light of hope in our new year is brightened by our hard work in our Diocese in our more lively participation in the Christian Community towards our Lord Jesus, the light of the world. Sharing is always accompanied by our responsibility to our fellow Christians. Among those who are already active, encouraging those who are cold is a duty. To those who have hidden abilities and time that have not yet been dedicated for the growth of the Church, we happily await you and expect you to participate.
Our Christian life will be more abundant and blessed with various graces, whether spiritual or material, when we are more alive to participate in our Community because the Mother Church is the abundant channel of salvation and graces.
Under the patronage of Mary the Mother of God and Mother of us all, I wish you a happy welcome in this new year. I am Bishop Dennis Villarojo, Bishop of Malolos, wishing you all a Happy New Year!
