The Grotto of the Blessed Virgin of Lourdes in the City of San Jose del Monte, Formally Under the Pastoral Care of the Diocese of Malolos
On July 20, 2024, Saturday, the Mass of Thanksgiving was celebrated in connection with the Grant of Pastoral Care of Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan led by the Bishop of Malolos, the Most Reverend Dennis C. Villarojo , D.D. with the Priests of the Vicarage of San Jose del Monte and devotees and believers. The Guanzon Family also attended Mass to join in the celebration.
The Bishop mentioned in his homily the importance of humility and righteousness, as well as strong trust in God's goodness. He said, "Sometimes we sin to solve the problem, but all we need is to be righteous." It can be recalled that on July 12th, the heirs of Horacio and Anita Guanzon (+) and representatives of the Diocese of Malolos signed an agreement granting the Diocese Pastoral Management for the Grotto.
May the Blessed Virgin of Lourdes pray for us in our visit to her in this Grotto to obtain a further blessing from the Lord, and may it be a true fountain of true Catholic Devotion centered on Christ, and loves his Mother.
