Message and Greetings in connection with the Great Feast of the Resurrection of the Lord
The Lord has crossed over from death to his victory! Unlike the animals that were sacrificed in the temple that after being slaughtered or burned are useless, the Lamb of God who offered himself for our salvation was not defeated by death. But after the third day, God raised him up, a sign of the victory of love despite the fact that we humans have fallen into our sins.
Even though the Resurrection of Jesus is almost two thousand years ago, the brightness and joy that this Good News brings to us does not fade. So every time we remember this, God's many victories in our lives are also renewed and relived in our hearts. Our human lives are not just a story of falling into sin and turning away from God's goodness. Since we were baptized, there have been many times when God prevailed in our lives. Whenever we choose to do good to our neighbor, God prevails. Every time we turn from sin, God wins. Every time we repent and repent, God wins. Come let's celebrate the comforter of Jesus! Jesus Christ is resurrected! Hallelujah!
