On August 28, 2024, the Great Feast of San Agustin de Baliwag was commemorated. It was 9:30 in the morning when the ceremony of dressing the image of San Agustin was held followed by the Holy Mass led by Lub. kg Dennis C. Villarojo, D.D. together with Father Narcing Sampana, Parish Priest and Rector, Father Carlo Mendoza, Associate Priest, and more than Fifty priests from the Diocese of Malolos.
In his homily, Bishop Dennis discussed the life of Saint Augustine and how he found God's love. He also paid attention to the special role of his mother, Santa Monica: "In the multitude of experts, wise people, wise people he went to, it was still his mother who gave him the way to the truth," statement he. He added, "Let's accept the love of God, and this is what San Agustin realized in his life. It's never who is greater or who is lesser—who is better or not better. It's never about comparing ourselves with others, it's about God's love."
The festival has the theme, "San Agustin: Companion in the journey with hope". This is linked to the theme of the coming Jubilee Year 2024, “Pilgrims of Hope”.
