"Being an altar server is not only a responsibility but an opportunity to serve with sincere dedication and faith." This is the message of Lub. kg Dennis C. Villarojo, DD on August 26, 2024, at the Altar Servers' Day of the Diocese of Malolos held at Valencia Hall, Bulacan State University, Malolos City, Bulacan. This gathering was attended by more than 1,700 altar servers from different parishes of the Diocese.
In his Homily at the Holy Mass, the Bishop emphasized the importance of choosing what is good, important, and holy in the service especially of the young people at the altar.
Diocesan Altar Servers' Day is an opportunity to recognize and appreciate the unique contribution of altar servers to the Church. The program in this gathering also aims to strengthen the spiritual life and unity of the young servants.
