The community of the Immaculate Conception Major Seminary (ICMAS) commemorated the 8th anniversary of the death of Bishop Cirilo R. Almario, Jr. on October 14, 2024.
A Holy Mass was offered at the Configuration Chapel for the late founder of the Seminary Mayor in Tabe, Guiguinto, Bulacan.
According to the ICMAS report, in the homily of Father Enrico Crisostomo, dean of the Configuration Stage, Bishop Almario's four good qualities were emphasized: his discipline, prayerfulness, sense of humor and humility. Still according to the said report, the entire community offered flowers to the bust of Bishop Almario after the Holy Mass, to the accompaniment of "All Things to All Men," a composition by Padre Rey Magnaye about the Episcopal Motto of the said bishop based on 1 Cor. 9: 19-23.
Bishop Almario passed away at the age of 85 in 2016. As the second bishop of Malolos, he was known for spreading biblical knowledge.
As the father of the seminary, he was known for memorizing the names of the seminarians, for giving out chocolates, and for his support of the seminary's basketball team.
Currently, the ICMAS gymnasium is named after him.
