Approximately 3,000 Church servants gathered for the Basic Ecclesial Communities or BEC Annual General Assembly and Fellowship at the National Shrine and Parish of Divine Mercy, Sta. Rosa, Marilao, Bulacan on Saturday, November 16, 2024.
Father Teodorico Trinidad, Chairman of the Commission on Basic Ecclesial Communities, reported the following activities of the commission - the Consultation, Evaluation and Assessment Meetings, the adoption of the BEC among Church Organizations and Officers of the Sub-Parish Pastoral Council and Parish Pastoral , the 10 vicars to carry out their respective Response Actions and the Php 1.7 million collected from 1,634 Sharing Piggy Banks for Participating.
He also emphasized the important role of priests in the work of BEC and the importance of BEC facilitators, promoters and organizers.
