Forty-five (45) children from Sitio Duplas, Kalawakan, Doña Remedios Trinidad (DRT), Bulacan received the sacrament of Holy Communion on Sunday, November 10, 2024.
This is the second group of children to receive the holy sacrament at the DRT Mission Station.
It was led by Father Alvin de Leon, priest-in-charge. Before starting the Mass, there was a confession to the children to prepare themselves for receiving the sacrament.
Father Alvin emphasized in his homily that the parents and godparents of the children play a big role in the baptism in deepening the children's faith. After the ceremony, some of the members and officials of the Sto Niño de Malolos Foundation Inc. distributed school supplies and rosaries. (SNdMFI). This SNdMFI project is in its 50th year of implementation.
PAGCOR Chairman Al Tengco, chairman of the Jubilee Fiesta Committee, and Berto Villanueva, co-chairman, further suggested that they continue to support and look forward to other charity works being held for the upcoming celebration of the golden jubilee of Sto. Niño de Malolos Foundation in January 2025.
