Balitang Sandigan: LITURGICAL MUSIC FORMATION HELD AT VALENZUELA VICARIATE (11.18.24)

The Vicariate of Valenzuela held a Liturgical Music Convention with the theme "One Music, One Mission 2024: Singing Our Faith" on October 19th at the National Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Fatima in Marulas, Valenzuela City.

Inspirational speakers were Father Allan Antonio, Chairman of the Diocesan Committee on Liturgical Music, and Mr. Dhong Zamora. In the workshops, Mr. Alejandro (AJ) Consolacion II led the training for instrumentalists and organists. Supported by Bb. Em Alcantara, Ms. Michaella Mari Sanares and G. Vell Litan — alumni of the Philippine Madrigal Singers — are the participants for the vocal coaching of Sopranos, Altos, Tenors and Basses.

Mr. Consolacion and Mr. Zamora also introduced in the said work the new music prepared for the Advent season.

This is the second time of holding the convention under the leadership of the Vicarial Committee on Liturgical Music (VCLM) of the Bikarya of Valenzuela.
