For the first time, the Parish Eucharistic Seminar was held with the theme Holy Eucharist: Only Support and Hope in the Diocese Shrine and Parish of San Agustin on November 9, 2024.
As a start, members of the organization prayed the Holy Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet. Following this, Father Carlo Mendoza, Parochial Vicar, led the opening prayer and his introduction to the speaker of the said seminar. Father Emmanuel Cruz, Rector of the Immaculate Conception Major Seminary in Guiguinto, Bulacan, was the speaker.
More than one hundred (100) believers from different parish organizations participated in it.
Father Emmanuel Cruz emphasized the importance of the Holy Eucharist. "Within the Eucharist, not only His body and blood, not only His word; [but] the totality of our Lord Jesus Christ is within the Eucharist. All Eucharists, all communions are viaticum [or companions on the way] that cross life—whether children or adults."
According to him, "The Eucharist is waiting eagerly for His return, and the Eucharist is a response of God and man—offering, gift of God, and thanksgiving of man."
At the end of the discussion, there was a celebration of the Holy Mass led by Father Emmanuel Cruz.
