Hagonoy, Bulacan - The Parish of Santisimo Rosario de Hagonoy launched the program: "BULOS: The Blessed Virgin and the Community" on Saturday, February 22, 2025.
This is one of the activities of the Parish Evangelization Commission which aims to have a monthly interview on devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The First Series of this BULOS has the theme "Introduction to Marian Devotion" led by SR. Mercidita Santos, RCM.
This will continue every month with different topics to be discussed about Mary.
The word “Bulos” is a Tagalog word that is native to the town of Hagonoy. This term is used by fishermen as the selection of fish seeds.
After the Bulos, the fish in the fishery grow together until they are ready to be harvested.
Similarly, Mary, as the Mother of God, chooses our Christians as seeds that she will nurture and grow in faith in Christ to be ready for His second coming.
