Sandigan Kaalaman: CHRIST DESCENDS INTO HELL: A HOLY SATURDAY REFLECTION (04.19.25)

An extraordinary thing is happening today, there is a great silence in the world, a vast silence of the world, a vast silence and peace. The whole world is silent because God has fallen asleep in the flesh and He is awakening those who have fallen asleep since the creation of the world. God died in the flesh and the place of the departed trembled with fear.

He went to seek our first parents, like a lost sheep. He desired to visit those who lived in darkness and in the shadow of death, He went to free the captives of Adam and Eve.

The Lord approached them carrying the cross, the weapon that won Him victory. And when Adam, the first man He created, saw Him, Adam beat his breast in fear and said to everyone: "The Lord be with you." And Christ answered Him: "And with you also." Christ took him by the hand and raised him up saying "Awake, or sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light."

I am your God and for your sake I became your Son, For love of you and your own race, now by My power I command all who are bound to come, all who are in darkness to be enlightened, all who sleep to arise. I command you, or you who sleep, to awake. I did not create you to be a prisoner of the realm of the dead. Rise from the dead, for I am the life of the dead. Rise up, you creatures of My hands, men created in My Image. Rise up and let us leave this place, for you are with Me and I am with you;
together we form but one being and we cannot be separated.

For your sake. I, your God, have become your Son. I, the Lord, have taken the condition of a servant; I, who dwell above the heavens, have descended to the earth and beneath the earth. 

For your sake, for the sake of man, I became like man so that he could be freed from death. For your sake, you who left the garden of paradise, I was betrayed to the Jews in the garden, and crucified in the same garden.

Look at My face, the wounds I received to restore to you the life I once breathed into you.

Look at the marks of the blows I received to transform your nature and become My image. On My back, see the scars of the whips I received to remove the weight of sin that weighs down your back.

Look at My hands nailed to a tree, for you who once stretched out your hand to a tree.

I lay on the Cross and my side was pierced by a spear for you who lay in paradise and from your side Eve came. My side healed your diseases. My lying down will awaken you from your sleep. The spear of him who pierced Me will drip into the spear of him who fights against you.

Arise, and let us leave this place. The enemy has taken you out of the earthly paradise. I will not return you to paradise. I will not return you to that paradise, but I will enthrone you in heaven. I forbid you the tree that only symbolizes life, but now look, I, the one of life, am with you. 

I appointed the cherubim to guard you like a servant but I made them worship you who are the image of God. The throne surrounded by the cherubim awaits you. The bridal chamber is decorated, the banquet is ready, the eternal abode awaits, the wealth of all good is open. The kingdom of heaven is prepared for you forever. Amen.
