As part of the mourning of the entire Catholic Church, the faithful of the Diocese of Malolos will offer masses and prayers for the late Pope Francis for nine days. During this time, we encourage you to pray the prayer published by our Diocesan Commission on Liturgy.
PRAYER FOR POPE FRANCIS IN HIS PASSAGE
Father of Eternal Mercy,
we commend to you
our beloved POPE FRANCIS,
whom you have called into your home.
Full of gratitude for his
caring leadership,
unwavering faith,
and deep love for humanity and creation, we entrust him
to your care forever.
May he who served you
faithfully on earth celebrate
before you in heaven without ceasing.
May the Almighty grant eternal peace to our beloved departed.
May he be illuminated by eternal light.
