Hundreds of devotees attended the Holy Mass for the Feast of the Presentation of the Holy Cross on September 14, at the Parish of the Holy Cross in Barangay Gen. T. De Leon, Valenzuela City. It was led at 5 pm by Father Roel Aldwin Valmadrid, the parish vicar, together with Father Jun Roxas, the parish priest, and guest priests, Father Lester John Desiderio Cabais and Father Mark Gil Yongco, OFM.
After the Holy Mass, a raffle was conducted in which several members of the community won prizes. The sum of the collected funds will be used to erect the monument of the Holy Cross.
This was followed by a procession around the barangay, continuing the tradition of faith and worship of the Almighty. This celebration served as an opportunity to bring believers together in a spiritual meditation and thanksgiving.
