The Holy Cross of the Lord was honored at the Feast of the Parish of Santa Cruz in Paco, Obando, Bulacan on September 14, 2024. The parish held a Mass Concelebration led by Bishop Dennis Villarojo, together with Father Angelito Caliwag, Parish Priest.
In his homily, the bishop emphasized the importance of carrying the cross to obtain more and more significant graces. He also encourages the believers not to put aside the blessings from God just because of the difficulties and trials that are suffered every day.
"The good things that happen in life, when we don't see them, it is an opportunity that is lost. Don't look at grace as an accident that happened in our lives," said Bishop Dennis.
"The heart that is grateful for a little blessing opens up so that God can give more and flow more blessings in life," he added.
On the eve of the feast on September 13th, the Solemn Procession was held, where the Holy Cross was released with the patrons of the Six (6) Sub-parishes of the parish.
On September 20th, the Parish of Sta. Cruz is their 73rd founding anniversary.
