On September 18th, the Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno pilgrim image arrived in the City of Baliwag at 11 o'clock in the morning. It was picked up by the Hijos de Nazareno in Quiapo, Manila. The image remained until September 22.
It was first brought to the Sub-Parish of Bagong Nayon and was greeted by devotees. After this, there was a procession to the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of San Agustin. The rite of welcome was performed led by Father Carlo Mendoza and followed by kissing the image and praying the rosary.
There were also various activities during the visit of the Nazarene. On September 19, the image was circulated to the City Government of Baliwag, even to private and public schools in the City of Baliwag. On this same day, there was a Holy Mass led by Father Rufino Sescon Jr., Rector of the Basilica Minore and National Shrine of Jesus Nazarene at 5:30 pm.
There was also a procession on the 20th of September carrying the image of the Nazarene. It was toured to Seven (7) visitors who are part of the Parish of San Agustin. On the last day of the stay of Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno, Father Narciso Sampana led the Farewell Rite at 12:00 noon and the image was brought back to Quiapo Church, Manila.
