"Sta. Monica, model Mother in prayer for the Filipino family." This is the theme of the celebrated feast of the patron saint of the parish in Angat town on August 27th.
The celebration began with the annual procession of the image of Sta. Monica at 5 o'clock in the morning. It was followed by a Holy Mass led by Father Narciso Sampana, Vicar General of the Diocese of Malolos, with Msgr. Manny Villaroman, Parish Priest, and Father Lester John Cabais, Parish Vicar.
In his homily, Father Lester emphasized the importance of listening to God, mentioning the character of Sta. Monica as a mother who prays fervently for her family. Before the end of the mass, Father Narciso thanked everyone who helped in the celebration, including Msgr. Manny, Padre Lester, and the hermanos who organized the feast.
According to Father Narciso, he wishes to be like Sta. Monica, everyone will be guided towards God and know Jesus as savior.
