The Parish of Our Lady of Assumption in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan celebrated the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary on August 15th. Holy Masses were celebrated during the day, starting at 6:30 in the morning. At the end of the day, the Mayor's Mass presided over by Bishop Dennis C. Villarojo was celebrated at 6 in the evening.
In his homily, the Bishop emphasized the importance of healing and caring for parents, especially mothers. He emphasized that caring for parents, even in spite of their weaknesses, is an important aspect of faith and respect for God.
In connection with the celebration of the festival, there was also a Parade, Children's Games, and Family Day. The "Church Baptism" was also held at 11 a.m. and Procession at 4 p.m. The celebration culminated in Barangay Night at the College Amphitheater of Sto. Rosario Sapang Palay College, where the community gathered to thank their patron.
