The 446th celebration of the Great Feast of the Assumption of Mary or "Fiesta Asuncion" was held on August 15, 2024. The Concelebracion Mass was presided over by Bishop Dennis Villarojo D.D. With Rev. Fr. Javer Joaquin, Parish Priest and Rector of the Diocesan Shrine of Nuestra Señora dela Asuncion, and Fr. John Michael dela Cruz, Parochial Vicar.
In his homily, the Bishop emphasized the importance of mothers in times of victory, as well as times of decline and suffering. He explained that mothers are always ready to defend their children against those who oppress them. He said, "We need our mothers in times of our success, but we need our mothers even more in times of our downfall, times when we don't succeed, times when we are ridiculed." He also reminded that mothers, like "mothers," have nothing to fear when their child is tortured or injured. He added, "At a time when everyone leaves and we become like garbage because all the people have left us, who will pick us up? The mother, because no mother will consider her child as garbage."
The Holy Mass was also celebrated at 4 o'clock in the afternoon led by Rdo. P. Domingo M. Salonga together with priests from Bulakan. Led by Rdo. Mgr. Pablo S. Legaspi Jr. the mass at 6 o'clock in the evening with the priests from the vicarage of Malolos. After this, a Grand Procession was held in honor of the Blessed Virgin. The Patrons of each SPPC under the jurisdiction of the parish were also paraded. The parishioners and devotees joined in the said work.
