Even though the church being built for the community of the Quasi-Parish of Our Lady of Lourdes in Bignay, Valenzuela City is not yet completely finished, there they celebrated the Thanksgiving Mass for their third anniversary of being appointed as "Prepared Parish" or Quasi-Parish on August 23, 2024.
Bishop Dennis C. Villarojo, D.D. led the Holy Mass with Rev. Fr. Julius Faa, the priest in charge of the Quasi-Parish, and Rev. Msgr. Adalberto Vergara, the Episcopal Vicar in the Southern District of the Diocese of Malolos.
According to Bishop Dennis in his homily, the new church building being built is a symbol of the faith and unity of believers in Baranggay Bignay. Attending this occasion was the Barangay Captain Garcing Victoriano and his wife Mrs. Mary Ann Victoriano, as well as Council members and Barangay staff.
The celebration of the third anniversary emphasized the continued progress of the Quasi-Parish and the construction of the new church of Our Lady of Lourdes in Bignay.
