On August 23rd, SHARPEN: Skills Harnessing for Pastoral Ministry and Evangelization was held at the Holy Spirit Academy, Malolos City, which was attended by approximately five hundred members of the Commission on Social Communications from each parish in the Diocese of Malolos.
Guest speaker Mr. Richmond Lim, Educational Technology Coordinator from Far Eastern University, discussed the topic “Personalized Outreach with AI.” This was followed by workshops or training with different topics such as Screenwriting for Film, Digital Publishing, Podcast Tools and Simulation, Video Editing, and Mobile Photography & Editing.
This work is part of a four-phase program undertaken by the Diocesan Commission on Social Communications (DCSC). The goal of the program is to improve the ability and deepen the service of each member of the commission in the field of Church Communication.
