For the first time, the image of San Miguel Arcangel de Dampol, Plaridel visited the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of San Miguel Arcangel de Mayumo in San Miguel Town, Bulacan on September 24, 2024.
It was greeted by devotees from the Visitation of San Vicente and proceeded to the parish. Upon arrival at the parish, it was warmly welcomed by Father Avelino Sampana, Rector and Parish Priest of the Pandiocese Shrine and Parish of San Miguel Archangel. This was followed by enthronement, catechism and Holy Mass led by Father Avel together with Father Renato Brion, Jr., Parish Priest of the Parish of San Miguel Archangel of Dampol.
Padre RJ explained that the purpose of the visit and pilgrimage to this shrine is to expand knowledge and deepen devotion to San Miguel Archangel. It will be remembered that on July 8-15, 2023, the traveling image of San Miguel Arcangel de Mayumo visited the Parish of San Miguel Archangel in Dampol in preparation for the 300th anniversary of the founding of the Parish of San Miguel Archangel of San Miguel.
