Father Gary M. Clemente was formally appointed as the parish priest of the Mission Parish of the Blessed Virgin of Salambao in Binuangan, Obando, Bulacan on September 22, 2024. Bishop Dennis Villarojo presided over the ordination ceremony. Father Carlos Cruz and Father Arvin Ray Jimenez concelebrated during the Mass.
In the Bishop's homily, he emphasized the importance of humility in order to serve wholeheartedly. "Humility in the Kingdom of God comes from love... We love God [and] others so much [that] we always put their welfare first," he said.
"May we always think about how to serve others in the glory of God. Because God himself does not hesitate to give himself for us," he added.
Father Gary is the 14th parish priest of the parish. He followed Father Ehersey Giovanni Sulit who is currently the parish priest of San Isidro Labrador Parish in Liciada, Bustos, Bulacan.
The Holy Mass was followed by a reception with priests, seminarians, the faithful, and other guests.
