The Vicarial of Santa Maria celebrated the Vicarial Altar Servers' Day 2024 on August 23, 2024. It was led by the Society of Altar Servers of the Parish of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. It was attended by representatives from different parishes under the vicarage to strengthen the unity and faith of the young servants.
Altar servers shared their experiences of service, including the challenges they faced. Led by Rev. Fr. Joselin San Jose, the Spiritual Director of VMAS La Purisima Concepcion, the Holy Mass, which became the center of the celebration. In his homily, he emphasized the importance of service. This was followed by an interview from Bro. Sem. Chester Manalo of ICMAS Guiguinto, Bulacan.
The program proper was held at the PUPSMB Gymnasium, where various activities such as the Talented Sacristan and games were conducted. Each parish showed their talent and participated in games. There was also a performance from the Sweet Child Band.
At the awarding ceremony, each parish was recognized for their participation and the winners of the various games. The Vicarial Altar Servers' Day 2024 showed the unity and service of the altar servers of the Vicarage of Santa Maria.
