In preparation for the 450th anniversary of the founding of the Diocese of San Juan Bautista Church and Parish, Calumpit, Bulacan, the parish formally launched the official logo, theme song and signature campaign to be used on August 29, 2024. It is on the day of the commemoration of the Passion of San Juan Bautista and the exchange of Hermandand for the Solemnity of the Nativity of San Juan Bautista.
The official logo depicts the rich history, culture, devotion and faith of the past. The church's bell tower and pavement are famous and are the popular identity and center of faith in the Great Town of Calumpit.
The Kalumpit tree, after which the town is named, can be seen continuing to grow and bear fruit, a symbol of the continued development of the people and its fruit is the strong faith. The boat is a symbol of the voyage of the Augustinians on the Calumpit River who landed in 1572 carrying the Cross as a symbol of the Catholic faith.
The celebration of the Jubilee Year of the world church in the year 2025 is also appropriated as journeys of hope. Depicts humanity hugging towards the cross as a sign of unity and respect for each other.
San Juan Bautista, the leader of the people and the 'voice crying in the wilderness,' serves as a guide and mediator to our Lord. Below is a conch that depicts the baptism symbol of our catholic faith. The emblems are applied to the number 450, a sign of the celebration of the 450th year of the establishment of the parish (1575-2025). At the same time, the official theme song titled "Isang Parokya, Isang Sambayanan" was also launched. The song pays tribute to the town's long tradition of Christian faith and serves as a reminder to parishioners of the importance of their faith and lifestyle. hopeful and caring.
Also, the Parish formally launched a Signature Campaign titled "Ikaw, Ako, et Pamilya ko, Kabahagi para sa Hubileyo" which aims to raise enough funds to meet the financial needs of the said celebration. The celebration of the 450th Hubileyo of the Parish of San Juan Bautista is one of the most important events in the history of Calumpit, and is expected to serve as an inspiration for many more years of service to the Church and the community. The launch is part of the preparations for the historic occasion to be held on 3rd March 2025, in recognition of the rich history of the Parish founded in 1575. For almost five centuries, the parish has been a center of faith and culture in the town of Calumpit and its neighboring areas.
